We are BRL-6010 certified and comply with the requirements included in the new Drinking Water Act. Despite all measures taken by a water supply company, legionella growth may still occur in the water distribution system as a result of a range of causes. In accordance with the guidelines of the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate ILT we can track bottlenecks in the distribution system and solve them.
In practice, we can perform the following activities for you:
- Draw up risk assessment plans (RI&E) and legionella control plans on the basis of BRL-6010
- Produce or update technical drawings of the water distribution system
- Chemical disinfection of the water distribution system
- Issue advice on installation adjustments
- Perform legionella analyses
Legionella Risk Assessments
The legislator stipulated in the new Drinking Water Act of 2011 that priority institutions must have a legionella risk assessment in place. This legislation is enforced by the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate ILT. We possess the BRL-6010 certificate, issued by Kiwa. This BRL-6010 certification is mandatory if a priority institution is assessed for legionella risks.
In such an inspection, the entire distribution routing is checked based on the available drawings and any bottlenecks are mapped. In combination with the risk assessment, the legionella control plan is drawn up.
If desired, existing drawings may be adjusted and digitalised. In the event that there are no drawings available, we can also produce entirely new drawings, both as hardcopy and in digital format.
