Reverse osmosis

Do you prefer to use pure water in your production process? You have come to the right place at AQ Water! Reverse osmosis equipment from AQ Group is highly suitable for this!

Reliable reverse osmosis equipment to suit all

Our equipment removes, often combined with a water softener, solid particles. These particles are smaller than one micron. It also filters dissolved salt and minerals from the water. This process is also called desalination. Another term used is RO, short for Reverse Osmosis.

Technique

At reverse osmosis installations, water is pressured and pushed through a membrane. Depending on the type of membrane, salt (solid particles, chemicals, organic substances and dissolved particles) will remain in the main water stream. Small water molecules from pure water will go through the membrane. The added water is split in two streams:

  • Water pushed through the membrane (permeate).
  • The remaining, concetrated water (reject). This is drained as waste water.
  • This technique does not only stop salts, but also bacteria (including legionella bacteria) and virusses. Water is purified for 95 to 97 percent.

Scope for reverse osmosis:

  • Pharmacy
  • Horticulture
  • Food industry
  • Boilers
  • Air humidification
  • Laboratories
  • Hospitals
  • etc.

Thanks to our extensive experience in water treatment, we can provide you with the right advice on which water softener to use. We can also take care of installation and maintenance.

You can always fall back on our service department. Our service engineers are available 24/7 in case of any breakdowns or emergencies. We work brand independent.

Our own RO-range

AQ Group has noticed an increase in demand for reverse osmosis equipment, which resulted in our own RO-range. With this range, we can share ideas on what an installation should look like. The RO-range has been designed in collaboration with Cumulus and is handy, accessible, high quality and affordable.

The AQ Cumulus RO-installation has a plastic frame, stainless steel membrane pipe, high quality centrifugal pump, integrated conductivity meter and a pre filter. The installation requires little maintenance and has a long lifespan, due to its compact design and use of high quality materials.

Capacities within this range consists of 250 and 2000 litres per hour and are often used in combination with water softeners. As this is our own range, we can deliver quickly, are flexible with suggestions and ideas and can offer a high quality installation which is financially very competitive.
